Having been raised in the picturesque landscapes of Northern Nevada, I developed a deep appreciation for the rugged beauty of the desert, the majesty of the mountains, and the boundless natural wonders of my home state. Hailing from the charming border town of West Wendover, I embarked on a journey to Reno, where I pursued my passion for the visual arts.
Studying Graphic Design has been an incredibly rewarding experience, allowing me to blend my creativity with technology to craft visually engaging and meaningful designs. Furthermore, my ongoing studies in Motion Graphics and Marketing have provided me with invaluable insights into the dynamic world of multimedia communication.
As I continue to expand my skill set and knowledge, my goal is to leverage my expertise to create compelling visual narratives and effective marketing campaigns. I am excited about the endless possibilities that lie ahead in these fields, and I'm eager to make a positive impact through my work.
The Story
I grew up in a vibrant Hispanic household where my family wholeheartedly embraced and nurtured my dreams and creative passions. As a child, I immersed myself in the world of art, experimenting with drawing, painting, and various forms of creative expression. It was during these formative years that I realized my true calling lay in the realm of creativity.
My journey into the digital arts began in high school when I delved into the realms of Photoshop and Illustrator. The world of digital art and illustration opened up before me, captivating my imagination like never before. This newfound love spurred me to further explore my creative potential.
My path eventually led me to college, where I continued to hone my skills and delve deeper into the world of visual storytelling. It was during this time that I embarked on my first professional journey as an intern for the City of Reno. Here, I discovered the power of photography in capturing meaningful moments and the profound impact of contributing to a growing community and city.
My creative endeavors expanded as I formed partnerships with local businesses, such as the Emerson. It was at the Emerson where my creativity truly flourished. I found myself styling cocktails, capturing staff portraits reminiscent of fashion editorial magazines, and playing a pivotal role in branding major events like Drag Bingo and Drag Brunch.
Since then, I've been on a relentless quest to expand my horizons in the realm of digital marketing. I've taken charge of managing social media accounts for local companies and continued to deepen my knowledge in video production and motion graphics. My journey is a testament to my unwavering commitment to the world of creativity and marketing, and I am excited to see where the future takes me.
